报告摘要：The singularity problem in black hole physics has been becoming longstanding challenge for the fundamental theory of physics. The recent progress on the direct detection of astrophysical black holes urges us to face this fundamental problem and look for new ideas to solve this problem. In this talk we present a general review on the singularity problem in black hole physics, focusing on the construction of regular black holes and its theoretical foundations.
报告人介绍：
凌意，现为中国科学院高能物理研究所研究员，博士生导师，中国科学院大学岗位教授。美国宾州州立大学博士学位，曾在南昌大学与同事组建相对论天体物理与高能物理中心。研究工作主要集中在量子引力、黑洞物理、宇宙学和理论高能物理等领域,曾兼任引力与相对论天体物理学会副理事长等职。
