报告摘要:Parity violation (PV) effects are common in modified gravity theories and can leave distinct signatures in gravitational waves (GWs). In this talk, I will present our work on constructing gravitational theories with PV and discuss their implications for GWs. First, using the framework of spatially covariant gravity, we construct higher-derivative scalar-tensor theories with PV. Next, we identify a subclass of spatially covariant gravity theories with PV in which both polarization modes of GWs propagate at the speed of light. Finally, by extending our approach to non-Riemannian frameworks, we explore the construction of symmetric teleparallel gravity with PV and its GW signatures.
