报告摘要:Motivated by the fact that current observables of inflation are effectively limited to the massless scalar mode, an open effective field theory (oEFT)framework has been developed to describe the evolution of the Goldstone boson of broken time translations interacting with an unspecified environment through dissipation and noise. Working in the decoupling limit, this framework yields predictions for the power spectrum and bispectrum, featuring new signatures that may serve as a smoking gun for interactions between the curvature perturbation and its environment. In this talk, I will review the theoretical foundations and phenomenology of the oEFT of inflation and discuss how current and future CMB observations can be used to constrain this framework.
