报告摘要:A one-dimensional Bose-Hubbard model with unidirectional hopping is shown to be exactly solvable. Applying the algebraic Bethe ansatz method, we prove the integrability of the model and derive the Bethe ansatz equations. The distribution of Bethe roots reveals the presence of a superfluid-Mott insulator transition at the ground state, and the critical point is determined. By adjusting the boundary parameter, we demonstrate the existence of a non-Hermitian skin effect even in the presence of interaction, but it is completely suppressed for the Mott insulator state in the thermodynamical limit. Our result represents a new class of exactly solvable non-Hermitian many-body systems。 ​

报告人介绍:

曹俊鹏,中科院物理所研究员、博士生导师。主要研究方向是低维强关联系统中的电子及自旋性质、量子多体理论、量子可积系统、冷原子系统中的新物质态等。发表SCI论文140余篇,撰写英文专著《Off-Diagonal Bethe Ansatz for Exactly Solvable Models》(Springer Press, 2015)。2012年获国家自然科学二等奖(第二完成人),2021年获中国科学院大学朱李月华奖。先后主持过科技部国家重点研发计划—物态调控重点专项子课题1项、基金委面上项目5项、参与重点项目3项等。
