报告摘要:We find that cosmic censorship introduces novel constraints on the holographic network and the Casimir effect. Specifically, holographic cosmic censorship imposes a lower bound on the brane tension in a holographic network, which is stronger than the bound derived from reflectivity positivity. We also conclude that the tension of Net-branes must be positive; the more edges present, the stronger this bound becomes. Additionally, weak cosmic censorship offers a holographic explanation for the attractive nature of the Casimir force when the same boundary condition applies to two parallel boundaries. Furthermore, unlike in free theories, the holographic Casimir effect undergoes a first-order phase transition as the width increases.

报告人介绍:

苗荣欣,中山大学物理与天文学院教授。南开大学本科,2014年于中国科学技术大学获得博士学位,随后在德国马普引力所和中国台湾清华大学做博士后,2018年加入中山大学,2024年评为教授。 在PRL,JHEP等杂志发表论文六十篇,近年来主要成果是构造了全息的网络,发现了卡西米尔效应的全息下界和边界附近的外尔反常电流。
